The United Bujutsu Federation ( UBF ) is a martial arts association founded by Kami Bushi Kai Grandmaster David Okawa Baize.
Founded in 1981 the UBF is the organization that oversees the teaching of the Kami Bushi Arts and also mentors other martial arts
instructors that wish to affiliate with the UBF to further their training.
The Kami Bushi Arts are comprised of three divisions: Kami Bushi Kai-the original system founded by Soke David Okawa Baize; Kami Bushi Do- headed by Soke -Dai Dan McCaslin; and Kami Bushi Jutsu--headed by Kyoshi Jim Long of Florida. While each division of the Kami Bushi Arts is capable of standing alone each remains a part of the whole system.
Students in the UBF may practice percussion arts such as Karate, Kenpo, or Tae Kwon Do; grappling arts such as Jiujitsu, Aikido, or Judo;
weaponry arts such as traditional Okinawan weapons or Filipino escrima.
While most of the styles represented in the UBF are Japanese or Okinawan, schools representing other countries / styles may be affiliated with the UBF. Instructors / schools seeking affiliation must be recommended by a UBF member instructor.
